Climate for schools
Teaching resource packs from the Climate Change Initiative
A series of classroom resources to engage students in learning about Earth’s changing climate and how we monitor our planet from space.
Developed by ESA’s Climate Change Initiative (CCI), each of these packs focuses on a key aspect of the climate system. They support topics taught in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) curricula across education systems in eleven ESA Member States.
Every pack consists of a teacher guide, student worksheets and links to sources of additional information for at least three activities. The activities include engaging climate narratives, practical experiments and tasks using ESA's Climate from Space web application which allows students to explore over 40 years of global satellite data.
The 10 resource packs will be made available in English, French, Spanish, German and Dutch.
